A debate team from Tel Aviv University won first place in last week's European Universities Debating Championship in Vienna.
The team, consisting of Stav Singer and Iddan Golomb, beat out all other English as a Second Language competitors. Another pair from Tel Aviv University reached the finals of the English as a First Language competition.
Each debate takes place between four teams of two people. Over 700 people took part in the tournament.
