The Chief Rabbi of Holland, Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs, has called on his prime minister to officially apologize for the Netherlands' collusion with the Nazis.

Rabbi Jacobs told JTA that "it is time that the Dutch head of state offer a comprehensive apology."

About 75 percent of the country's 140,000 Jews were murdered during the Holocaust.

The issue is controversial in the Netherlands, as all of its neighboring countries have already made apologies.
