For years the price of issuing an adult’s passport at Ben Gurion International Airport was a staggering 1120 shekels. Today (Sunday), Minister of Interior Silvan Shalom announced that the cost would be reduced by 4% to a rate of 700 shekels.
“Upon my entry into this position, I promised to implement a true reform in customer services at the Census Bureaus. Today I am happy to announce that this reform has begun t move forward,” Shalom said.
