Administrative detention decrees were issued on Sunday morning for rightwing activists Meir Ettinger and Evyatar Slonim. Ettinger and Slonim were arrested last week along with Mordechai Meir, in connection with the firebombing of a home in the Samarian Arab village of Duma.

The Honenu organization announced that the decrees were issued moments before the two were scheduled to be arraigned by a Nazareth court, seemingly in light of the Police Department’s fear that the court would instruct their release. Following the issuing of the decrees, the court hearing was cancelled and the suspects were taken into custody.
