The 70-year-old farmer seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after being attacked near Moshav Pidaya passed away a short time ago at Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center in Tzifrin.
According to a preliminary police investigation, the man was apparently attacked by illegal Palestinian workers. Central District Commander Moti Cohen ordered the main unit of the Central District to conduct a further investigation.
