Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced his decision to appoint Eli Groner to the position of Director-General of the Prime Minister's Office.
"The wealth of experience of Eli Groner, who has filled many roles in both the public and private sectors, has led me to choose him for this significant role in the advancing of the Israeli economy. Eli will be able to help me to promote the many reforms we are planning, increase competition within the economy, cut through red tape, streamline the government procedure in order to be able to cooperate with the private sector, and developing unique growth engines for the Israeli economy," the Prime Minister said.
Most recently, Mr. Groner served as the economic attache to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, between 2011-2014.
