The cabinet today (Tuesday) approved a series of decisions made in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, as well as the city's strengthening as a whole.
Among other things, a plan will be formulated for the economic development for 2016-2020, a team will be established which will plan the 2017 Jubilee celebration, and another program will be put in place to upgrade the infrastructure in order to increase visits to the Western Wall Plaza. Buildings will also be allocated throughout Jerusalem which will be used for culture and leisure.
