A new biography purports to reveal who informed the Nazis about the attic in which Anne Frank's family hid. The book is a dedicated to Elisabeth "Bep" Voskujil, one of the people who helped the Franks during their time in hiding.
The authors, one of whom is Elisabeth's son Joop van Wijk, claim that Bep's sister Nelly Voskujil ultimately led the Gestapo to the Jewish family. According to Van Wijk, "Our conclusion is painful, but clear."
