About 2,500 people, both Muslims and Christians, participated in a March today (Tuesday) in Garissa in northeast Kenya, in a show of solidarity and defiance against the Al Shabaab terror group, BBC reports, and the group has vowed to maintain their unity against the Al Qaeda-linked terrorists.
In the capital, students protested, demanding more and better security on campuses. Last Thursday’s attack took the lives of 148 people, and is considered the worst attack that Al Shababb has launched in Kenya.
