Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has authorized Tamar, the natural gas reservoir partnership, to export gas to Jordan. As part of the agreement, Israel will deliver 1.8 billion cubic meters of gas for the next 15 years in exchange for $500 million US. Once in Jordan, the gas will go to bromine factories and the Arab Potash company on the Dead Sea.
