A third lane will open to traffic in both directions on Monday on Route 2, between Netanya Interchange and Havatzelet Interchange, Transport Minister, Yisrael Katz, announced on Sunday.
According to the Minister, the expanded route is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion in the region and increase safety levels on the road.
