Tunisia's President said on Saturday night that security failures led to the shooting attack at the capital's National Museum, during which 23 people were killed.
Speaking to French media outlets, the President said that "The police and intelligence officials did not act systematically enough in order to safeguard the museum." He simultaneously applauded the country's security forces for their rapid response to the event.
