A worker was killed in a construction accident on Harav Kook Street in Netanya. Attempts to revive him at the scene through CPR failed, forcing Hatzalah workers to pronounce him dead.
A spokesman for the Hatzalah rescue organization explained, "When Hatzalah volunteers arrived at the scene, the victim had lost consciousness due to injury caused when a concrete beam fell on him during the renovation of one of the apartments. Attempts to save his life failed, and he died due to the severity of the injuries. The police, of course, will be reviewing the incident."
