Histadrut chairman Avi Nissenkorn, Cellcom's General Manager Nir Sztern, Cellcom workers committee chairwoman Maya Yaniv, Yaki Halutzi, a founder of the Histadrut which successfully unionized mobile carriers, signed off on Cellcom's first collective bargaining agreement today (Sunday).
The agreement, which will apply to employees of Cellcom and Netvision, will include among other things, profit-sharing for the members, salary increases, and a job security mechanism to cover budget in the welfare of the workers in the case of large lay-offs.
