The UK-based monitoring group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reported today (Friday) that a cleric affiliated with the Islamic State who objected to the group’s burning alive of Jordanian pilot Maaz al-Kassasbeh, has been removed from his post by the ISIS, and will be forced to stand trial himself, Reuters has reported.

Director of the NGO, Rami Abdulrahman, said that the Saudi cleric, who voiced that those responsible for the pilot’s killing should stand trial, may now be put to death himself at the hands of the jihadist extremists.
