The Musawa Center in Rahat demanded the removal of Israeli police from sites in which protesters will demonstrate this (Monday) evening and Tuesday in accordance with the general strike called by Arab villages.
On Sunday, Arabs in Rahat rioted during the funeral of Sami al-Jabri, who was shot and killed during a police action. During the funeral some of the attendees saw a police patrol car and began throwing stones at the car, as well as at further police forces which showed up to assist.
