Yehudit Shilat: Even with Secular MK's We Will Be a Religious Party

Yehudit Shilat, chairwoman of the "Takana" forum and candidate in the upcoming Jewish Home primaries said today, "I come from a Torah-observant community. We have grown, and today we already are not limited to dealing with the solely with the needs of the religious sector."\

Shilat, who is fighting for a spot on the Jewish Home list for the 20th Knesset, spoke about how important it was to also have secular candidates on the party's list. "We come to represent all parts of Israeli society," she said, adding, "and the way to do this is to include all of society's sectors within the Jewish home party framework."

"Even if one third of the MK's will be secular, Jewish Home will still be a Religious-Zionist party," Shilat said.
