A couple, in their 50's, were arrested this morning (Monday) in the Arab town of Mashhad, northeast of Nazareth, on weapons charges. A search of their house and yard produced a Kalashnikov rifle, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
The arrest was a result of a combined operation by a special unit organized by Nazareth police and Nazareth detectives. The suspects have been brought in for further questioning.
