Arutz Sheva has just learned that Opposition leadership has notified the heads of the Opposition factions' on a cancellation of their weekly meeting as the vote on the 'Jewish State Law' had been postponed and will not be taking place this coming Wednesday.

Over the last twelve hours there have been extensive contacts made in an effort to postpone the vote. One of those reached out to was Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman (Yisrael Beytenu), as he has said more than once that it is an inauspicious time to hold new elections. Liberman reached out to Jewish Home's Naftali Bennett to propose the postponement, and the proposal was accepted.
