Head of the Samaria Regional Council's 'Hasbara' (PR to educate the public on Israel beyond biased media presentation) department, Yossi Dagan, turned to the Government Press Office (GPO), claiming that CNN's coverage of this morning's terrorist attack in Jerusalem's Har Nof neighborhood was in the 'barbaric style of Der Stuermer' and gave legitimacy for additional killings.
In his request to GPO Director Nitzan Chen he sought to revoke the press credentials of American CNN news reporter Ben Wedeman following his report that Israeli police shot two Palestinian civilians dead in Har Nof this morning.
