A police search of the home of the Palestinian Arab village of Deir al-Assad, located in the Galilee, led to the location and confiscation of roughly 1,000 bullets meant for M-16 rifles and other IDF issued equipment, such as bullet-proof vests, suspected to be stolen.

A 38-year-old resident of the village was arrested in connection with the stolen goods and will be arraigned on Wednesday morning in Akko.
