Eldag - Eliezer Landau Fish Limited announced, Thursday evening, that Listeria monocytogenes has been found in 100-gram and 200-gram packages of its sliced smoked Norwegian salmon with expiration dates between November 1st and 8th and between November 22nd and 26th.
Listeria monocytogenes bacteria can cause illness in a high-risk population such as those with weakened immune systems or cause miscarriages in pregnant women. Consumers who have the product were asked not eat it and to contact the company at 03 923 0402.
