Jerusalem investigator arrested Chaim Gamliel this week, a 24-year-old suspected of managing a WhatsApp group under a false name and using the group to call for attacks against Arabs. Gamliel and three others were charged as accessories to racial crimes and attacks.
Investigations found that the youths, aged 16-17, responded to a message sent out by Gamliel, regarding “taking care” of an Arab man working in Jerusalem’s Meah Shearim neighborhood. The youths arrived at the site, beat the man and fled the scene. They were arrested later this week and admitted to the crime.
