Celebrations Premature: Ethiopian Aliyah Resumed

Avraham Negosa, spokesman for representatives of the orgnizations for Ethiopian Jews in Israel told Arutz Sheva that despite the proclamations that official aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel) had ended, dozens of Ethiopian Jews were still being brought to Israel each month. 

"They misspoke. Six months ago we celebrated that the aliyah from Ethiopia was over, but it was premature.  In actuality, there are still thousands from Gondar to Addis Ababa awaiting the opportunity to make aliyah," Ngoso said.
