The influential, long-running British rock band Deep Purple is returning to Israel for two concert dates on February 22nd and February 23rd, both at Tel Aviv's Nokia Arena. This is their fourth time visiting Israel. The band will also act in an episode of Atlantica. The Israeli TV drama depicts a struggling Jerusalem rock band which is managed by a local high school teacher, played by comedian and musician Tal Friedman. On the show, the band is ecstatic to meet their inspiration. In real life, Friedman's own band Tal Friedman and the Krayot will be the opening act for Deep Purple's Tel Aviv gigs.
