By a vote of 32-0 with one abstention, the Knesset passed a bill, Monday evening, to encourage the acceptance of discharged soldiers to programs for studying engineering.
The law requires that guidelines for use of a higher-education fund for discharged soldiers reflect the needs of the Israeli market, focusing on engineering, science and technology.
