Homefront Defense Minister Gil'ad Erdan said, Monday, that he does not rule out the possibility of Israel undertaking a large military operation in Gaza, soon.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, Erdan said, "Of course there's room for concern because we see an increase in the number of attempts to launch those rockets that were intercepted by Iron Dome in the Ashkelon area, just a few days ago." He said Gaza's Hamas rulers are not interested in an escalation but it has no interest in clashing with Islamic Jihad. Erdan, like the rest of Israeli leadership, views Hamas as the responsible party in Gaza.
