Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat has completed his assessment of the successful municipal preparations for the snowstorm expected in the capital over the weekend.
"We look forward to seeing the most beautiful city of Jerusalem under a blanket of snow. Children living in the capital are really looking forward to the snowfall, in addition to countless visitors from other cities who come in for the special occasion and experience."
The municipality has readied 100 snow plows and 90 tons of salt in order to keep roads clear throughout the storm.
