On the request of Finance Minister Ya'ir Lapid, Ambassador Gao Yanping of China said, Sunday, that she will examine the possibility of Chinese companies investing in a rental-housing project of the housing cabinet. Lapid also asked the ambassador to invite Chinese companies to bid on building the project.
The two also discussed expansion of economic and research cooperation between the two countries and agreed to increase the joint fund for the two countries' science ministries.
