Two calves were discovered today (Monday) in infected barns located in the Yezreel (Jezreel) Valley communities of Kfar Yehoshua and Beit Zaid.
The Ministry of Health is requesting that anyone who has had contact with dairy or calf fattening farms, or has animals who were at these locations, to contact the Ministry of Health in Afula (04-609-9050, or 04- 609-9000), or the nearest Ministry of Health office to his home. Hospital emergency rooms should be contacted after office hours or during weekends.
