Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu said tonight (Tuesday), following the opening of the United Nations General Assembly, that “I appreciate President Obama’s statement that “Iran’s moderate words must be accompanied by action that is transparent and can be authenticated”, and I look forward to discussing this with him in Washington next week.”
“Iran thinks that reassuring words and symbolic gestures will enable it to continue on the path to a nuclear bomb. Just like North Korea before her, Iran is continuing to try to remove sanctions by offering cosmetic concessions, while it retains the ability to quickly build a nuclear bomb,” Netanyahu said.
