Minister Naftali Bennett used strong language, Monday afternoon, in remarks at the funeral of First Sergeant Gavriel "Gal" Kobi of the Israel Defense Forces, who was shot by a sniper in Hevron, Sunday evening. The Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) chairman, who serves on the diplomatic-security cabinet, said, "Make no mistake about us. We will not lay down our arms. We will not blink. We will build another house and another, even with tears in our eyes, in Bat Yam [where murdered soldier Tomer Hazan and his suspected Palestinian Authority killer worked -ed.], Hevron or Haifa [where Koby's funeral was held -ed], they will not get in the way of our continuing to build our land.

Bennett continued, "We see you: neighbors who sanctify blood, killing, glorifying barbaric murderers and fighting for their release. Naming squares for terrorists to make it clear where you want to go and what your path is." He promised, "This will not continue. We must stop giving our enemies the feeling that Jewish blood has become the cheapest commodity in the Middle East. That there's no punishment for [taking] it. That there's no clemency for auto thieves but release for those who murder Jews." he concluded, "Gal's murderers will be severely punished and I promise that we will act with all our might so that there will never be an option of releasing them."
