Member of Knesset and Hevron resident Orit Struk (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) reacted, Sunday evening, to the critical wounding of an Israeli soldier in the city by saying, "Right now we are all praying for the well being of the wounded. It has been years that there has not been a holiday for the people of Israel in which one murder attack comes right after another. The government must do soul searching about the release of terrorists, which brings with it a series of murderous terror attacks."
Struk, who has two sons who were wounded in the area of the shooting, added, "While Arab terrorism is trying to harm the joy of the [Sukkot/Tabernacles] holiday and the Jewish presence in Hebron - I'm sure the healthy public response of tens of thousands of Jews will be to vote with their legs tomorrow for Jewish Hebron [by coming]."
