    Court Awards Hebron Mother 9,000 NIS for False Arrest

    Anat Cohen of Hebron waved a sign at her son's IDF Western Wall swearing-in ceremony captioned "Remember, son, you swore to defeat the enemy, not evacuate Jews", and was arrested by the police. She was released after 4.5 hours without interrogation. Thursday the Jerusalem Magistrate Court ordered the police to pay 4,500 NIS for the 4.5 hours of detention, 2,000 NIS for the false arrest and duress, and 2,500 in legal fees.
