Safe and sound are all 70 passengers on board an Arkia ATR72 jet that took off Thursday morning from the Sdeh Dov airfield near Tel Aviv bound for Eilat. The plane was ordered to return following a strong odor of smoke in the cabin.
The aircraft is undergoing thorough inspection, and the airline will provide passengers with alternate flights.
