Hamas admitted for the first time on Wednesday that its relations with Iran have been hurt because of its support for the Syrian rebels. Hamas’s Deputy Minister of External Affairs, Ghazi Hamad, told reporters in Gaza that the deterioration in relations is expressed both in the political as well as the economic aspect.
Hamad said that "things have not yet reached the level of a boycott by Iran," but declined to give more information about the extent of the aid that had been cut.
