Alice Walker's Jewish Daughter, New Book & Antisemitism

American writer Alice Walker's new book has some biting criticism for the Jewish State. The award-winning writer also participated in the flotilla to Gaza and has advocated for boycotts against Israel. In the 1960s she was married to Mel Leventhal, a Jewish-American who worked as a lawyer on many civil rights issues. The two had one child, Rebecca Walker, who later became the author of several acclaimed books including "Black, White and Jewish".
