Assad Denies Hizbullah Units in Syria

President Bashar Al-Assad of Syria claimed, Monday, that there are no units of Hizbullah in his country and that the Lebanese Shi'ite Muslim terror group send individual fighters to guard the Lebanese border. The claim came in the wake of a report that Hizbullah was training government forces for an offensive on the city of Aleppo.

Interviewed by Germany's Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper, Assad said that nationalist and religious borders were being formed in the Middle East and warned that if people continued to play with the borders, there would be a map of wars everywhere that nobody could stop.
