58 Babies Born in Soroka Hospital in 24 Hours

The average daily birthrate at Soroka hospital in Be'er Sheva is 35, and a record 58 were born there in the last 24 hours. Soroka Maternity Director Prof Moshe Mazor explains, birthrate has been rising here steadily since the opening of the Saban maternity ward. Birthrate peaks during summer and autumn, and we expect more increase over the coming months."
