Under-21 Soccer Final to Disrupt Jerusalem Traffic

The Jerusalem municipality announced, Monday, arrangements for Tuesday's 7:00 p.m. final between Italy and Spain in the Union of European Football Association's championship for players under the age of 21, which is expected to draw 32,000 to Teddy Stadium. Drawing on an earlier game in the tournament, the city will close Dov Yoseph Street, as well as northbound Benvenisti. Residents of Gilo and Beit Tzafafa are being asked to use Derech Hevron to get downtown while residents of Giv'at Masua, Malcha and Ramat Sharet are being asked to use Golomb Street.

The city will provide free shuttle bus service every ten minutes between the following locations and the stadium, from 4:00 p.m. until half an hour before the kickoff and from the end of the game until 11:00 p.m.: Le'um Parking Lot, Mount Herzl, Machon Lev in Giv'at Mordechai and Netanel Lorach Street in the National Government campus. There will be no private-vehicle access and vehicles parked illegally near the stadium will be towed. The city's 106 switchboard will be reinforced for questions on the matter.
