No-Confidence Motions Removed from Knesset Agenda

Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein reached agreement, Monday, with members of the ruling coalition and members of the opposition to remove votes and debate on no-confidence in the government from Monday's agenda. In exchange, opposition members will be allowed more speaking time in the debate on the first reading of the 2013-2014 budget and Financial Arrangements Law

The vote is expected early Tuesday morning. Following the first reading, the budget will go to the Knesset Finance Committee and the Financial Arrangements Law will go to various committees. Many changes are expected before the second and third readings.
