We will Help Cyber Soldiers Succeed as Civilians

Economics Minister Naftali Bennett stressed the computer industry's potential for the state during an address, Sunday, to the third annual gathering of cyber startups and initiatives as part of the international cyber conference taking place at Tel Aviv University. He said, "At the Ministry of the Economy, we have created a set of tools and incentives to help cyber companies to advance quickly. We are providing a 50% refund on a company's investment and are even helping fund many ongoing expenditures. In recent months almost 50% of cyber projects applying for funding from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor have received a total of about 16 million shekels."

Minister Bennett called military veterans who had worked in the cyber field during their service to contact the Ministry of Economy, which will provide the necessary tools to help them succeed in this area in the civilian world: "For me, this is a national task, so we can look back and say that Israel is the capital of the cyber world."
