Arabic Graffiti in Jerusalem City-Hall Synagogue

Graffiti in Arabic was discovered, Sunday, spray-painted in the synagogue named in memory of Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Shmuel Meir in Safra Square, opposite the municipality building. Deputy Mayor David Hadari reacted as follows on his Facebook page, "This morning, the first employees arrived at Safra Square and were shocked to see graffiti in Arabic that includes content offensive to Jewish residents of Jerusalem. Because the city-hall employees are most efficient, the graffiti was erased in an hour so I don't have a picture to show you." Referring to "price tag" graffiti that is attributed to Jews, Hadari continued, "It appears there is also an Arab 'price tag' but this interests the media less."
