Herald Scotland reports authorities in Iraq say they have uncovered an al-Qaeda cell working to produce poisonous gas for chemical attacks in Europe and America.
An intelligence operation discovered workshops in the capital Baghdad which were being used for manufacturing the chemical agents, adds Herald Scotland, including sarin and mustard gas.
Herald Scotland also notes remote-controlled toy planes – to be used to release the chemicals over a target from a distance – were also seized.
