Muslim Brotherhood Leader: Dahlan Planned Sinai Attacks

Issam Al-'Aryan, a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, has accused former senior Fatah official Mohammed Dahlan with conspiring to carry out attacks in the Sinai Peninsula, according to Tuesday report by the London-based Al-Hayat daily.

Interviewed by the newspaper, Al-'Aryan claimed that Dahlan recruited armed entities in Sinai through money he raised in the United Arab Emirates. Al-'Aryan did not rule out the possibility that Dahlan was involved in the kidnapping of Egyptian security personnel in the area ten years ago.
