Report: El Al Flight Almost Hit Eilat-Area Hill

The head pilot of El Al Israel Airlines has asked management to cancel night flights to Eilat, following an incident about a month ago in which a crew nearly flew a plane into an area hill, according to a Sunday-evening report by Channel 10 Television. The crew has been suspended pending the results of an investigation by the Transportation Ministry.
