Chief Superintendent David Shriki was appointed on Friday as the new commander of the Arad Police, replacing Yoni Zaytek who was dimissed on Thursday.
Zaytek and two other officers were dismissed due to shortcomings in their handling of the case of two girls in the nearby Bedouin community of Al-Fur'a, who were murdered earlier in the week.
