Egyptian authorities have uncovered an attempt to smuggle 60 tons of explosives and ammunition to a destination which has not yet been determined, Kol Yisrael radio reported on Thursday.
According to the report, the weapons were seized in two containers that were aboard a Turkish ship that docked in Alexandria. Investigators are trying to find out where the cargo was headed.
