The Boston Herald reports former Cambridge neighbors of a Russian mixed martial arts brawler shot dead by an FBI agent early yesterday in Florida — after being questioned about his ties to the marathon bombing and a Waltham triple murder — said he was nasty.
Ibragim Todashev, 27, adds The Boston Herald, also hung around with slain marathon bombing mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26 — swilling beer and eating chicken on a stoop on Harding Street, they said.
Todashev was killed Wednesday after the FBI said he became “violent” during questioning at his Orlando apartment. The Boston Herald notes unconfirmed reports said he had confessed to the Sept. 11, 2011, Waltham murder of three roommates along with Chechen terror buddy Tsarnaev, sprinkling the three victims with narcotics after the act.
