Following the Mohammed Bakri libelous documentary 'Jenin, Jenin' falsely alleging IDF soldiers perpetrated war crimes, MKs Yoni Chetboun (Jewish Home) and Nachman Shai (Labor) proposed a law to allow slandered IDF personnel to sue for libel.
The law passed its preliminary Knesset reading Wednesday.
